Bible Reading Plans
"Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." - Psalm 119:105 (NIV)
Embark on a life-changing journey through God’s Word and into Real Life. Whether you’re new to Bible reading or looking to deepen your practice, there’s a perfect plan for you.
Why Is Bible Reading Important?
Along the Journey to Real Life, one of the core practices we encourage is a daily habit of Bible reading. God’s word is a source of power for His believers, and we are called to learn its teachings and meditate on them. Through doing this we grow closer to God, gain wisdom, strengthen our faith, and live our lives in accordance with His will.
Transform your life through consistent engagement with scripture.
- Deepen your understanding of God’s character and plan
- Strengthen your relationship with God
- Understand your calling and purpose
- Get guidance for daily decisions
- Gain comfort, peace, and encouragement in difficult times
- Gain wisdom and practical insights for relationships and personal growth
- Equip you to face spiritual challenges
- Equip you to share your faith with others
How to Read the Bible:
- READ a passage of scripture and take note of a verse that stands out to you.
- EXAMINE – Summarize in your own words. What just took place? What is the context? What is God saying? What does it mean?
- APPLY – What does God want you to change in the way you believe, think, or act? How will you be different based on what you’ve read?
- PRAY – Write a prayer, asking God to help you obey.
