Who should attend the Real Life Conference?

This conference is for the person who says, “Yes, God, I want to see my faith impact real life.” All around us, every day, God is at work. Our biggest problem is not that God is not near, or that God doesn’t care, but that we aren’t listening. If we could slow down, stop the worry, push away the distractions, what would God say to us? If we could see the world as God does, what would we see? How would we be different? We invite you to the Real Life Conference to join with believers from around South Texas to seek God and what He wants to do through each of us.

Where will the conference be held, and where do I park?

The Real Life Conference is conveniently located at River City Community Church, 16765 Lookout Road, Selma, TX, 78154. Parking at the church is free! Our transportation carts will run until 15 minutes before the day begins, and then will run afterwards.

When do I decide which breakout sessions to attend?

You are welcome to decide during the conference; no pre-registration is required for individual Real Life Conference breakout sessions. Please note that some sessions will have an attendance limit.

Where can I see the bios for our Keynote Speakers and Special Guest Speaker?

On our main conference page, look for the pictures of our featured speakers.  You will see a round sphere symbol under each speaker’s name and picture

How much does it cost to attend the Real Life Conference?

See pricing on main page and to register.
REGULAR ADMISSION:     $49
STUDENT ADMISSION:     $15   (ages 12-17)

*A limited amount of scholarships are available

When will I get my ticket or confirmation of my registration?

Once your register online, you will receive an email confirmation.  Check-in at the conference each day by simply telling us your name at the door (no paper ticket required)!

What if I am only able to attend one day (Friday or Saturday)?

We encourage you to come enjoy as much of the The Real Life Conference as you can! If necessary, you can attend just one day, however there is no difference in price.

Can I buy additional tickets?

You may register additional people on the registration form.  Please have their name and email.

Is my ticket transferable to someone else?

Is my registration refundable?

Partial refunds (50%) will be given through Feb. 22nd. No refunds will be given after Feb. 22nd.  You may consider donating your registration fee as a scholarship for someone else.

When or how do I check in?

If you have pre-registered:  Check-in at the conference each day by simply telling us your name at the door (no paper ticket required)!
At-the-door registration:  We will have registration at the door but we do encourage pre-registration to better accommodate our participants.

Will lunch be available?

Yes –BBQ Lunch catered by Smokey Mo’s:  Smokey Mo’s will be serving up brisket, sausage, potato salad, pinto beans, and of course some sweet tea!  You can pay for a plate when you register at just $10 a person.

Will breakfast / drinks / coffee be available?

Yes, there will be some breakfast options for purchase along with coffee and other drinks.

What is the schedule?

Do you have hotel recommendations for conference participants?

We have partnered with the Hampton Inn and Suites (IH 35 & FM 3009) to provide special pricing for conference participants.  See our Conference Hotel section on our main page to make reservations.

What if someone in my group needs to bring a small child or nursing infant?

While families are extremely important to us, we are unable to accommodate children at this conference, and, therefore, they will not be allowed at the conference.

Is there a minimum age to attend the conference?

Our sessions are geared for 12 years old and up.

How can I advertise my business?

We have several ways that you as a business can advertise at our conference.  Please see the SPONSORS section on our main page and complete the “Contact Us” section.

Is there a Conference T Shirt?

Real Life Conference T-Shirt:   T-shirts are a men’s cut, super-soft cotton blend (you can see the design at the beginning of this registration form).

Pre-ordered t-shirts will be available for pick-up at the River City Community Church main office. For your convenience, your shirt can be mailed to you for $4 S&H (per order).

Will there be resources available?

We will have a variety of vendors as well as books from the main speakers for purchase.

What should I bring?

You might want a light sweater or jacket since the facilities might be on the cooler side.

Is the seating reserved or is it general admission?

General Admission is the seating.  Groups can feel free to sit together.  Our conference is ADA accessible – please contact Agatha Kerr  if this is needed. Click here to send an email
