River City Serves Local: SERVE DAY

Join River City as we take this opportunity to highlight the love of Jesus by serving and caring for our neighbors. In this opportunity to be with our community we are able to focus on serving others, which often gets overlooked in our fast-paced world. We partner with several ministries throughout the city who have demonstrated a real commitment to helping those in need. Each opportunity offers a unique opportunity to follow our mission; “More people living real life by passionately following Jesus”. We want to see at least 250 people serving throughout our city every third Saturday of the month. Here are the locations and activities we will be taking part in on March 21st:
1. Agora – Spring Cookout with crafts and games in the neighborhood park
2. The Glen – neighborhood clean up with lunch and food/clothing pantry
3. Haven for Hope – serving lunch
4. Mats Matter – making mats for the homeless
5. No Strings Attached – assembling gift bags and love notes
6. RLCA – Food and clothing pantry
7. River City Campus care – tree trimming and campus beautification
