NOVEMBER – Compassion Month
November 10, 2018 - November 11, 2018
Compassion Month is the opportunity for us to highlight a value that Jesus taught on a daily basis – compassion. With our fast-paced lives, it is a good time of year to focus on the world around us. We have a variety of ways that you can participate during Compassion Month.
Compassion Offering – We will be accepting gifts towards our compassion offering throughout the month of November.
NOVEMBER 10/11:
ADOPT a FAMILY for Thanksgiving: Provide a Thanksgiving Meal for a family in need. Our goal is to provide 200+ families. (See KIOSK to select a packet with family name and items list.)
SIGN UP for NOV. 17th Church-Wide Thanksgiving Outreach Opportunities: Join us as we head out to be the Hands and Feet of Jesus in our community and the San Antonio inner city. Look for the Hands & Feet Local KIOSK to sign up or go HERE.

GIFT OF HOPE gift bags for the homeless: Help us collect and prepare gifts for 500 homeless individuals in downtown San Antonio. Items due Nov. 25th, Sunday. (KIOSK) *Gift Wrapping Party with these items will be Dec. 1st from 10am–2pm in the foyer. LIST OF NEEDED ITEMS: chapstick, men’s thermal socks, small sized lotion, and candy bars.
