Nearly 100 students gathered at Epic Week 2017 to consider a most important question – Who are they becoming?
Epic Week is River City Community Church’s annual summer camp for students 6th – 12th grade. Students spend four-days and three-nights engaged in high-impact fun and faith-building experiences. This camp’s guest speaker was Aaron Powers, a former youth pastor who is now leading Compass Church in Helotes, Texas.
The students engaged in high adrenaline events to include a ginormous water slide, bubble soccer, a lake trip, and an outing to Main Event.
Beyond all the fun, the camp focused students on this one important question. Are they athletes, students, creatives, or, are they first and foremost followers of Jesus Christ?
