Sundays at Rio Adventure
Join us for Rio Adventure! Our Rio Explorers (6 months - 4 years) and Rio Mountaineers (Kinder - 5th grade) programs are offered every Sunday during all services.

We provide worship songs and creative teaching time for children in the Preschool Rooms.
Rio Mountaineers - Kinder - 5th grade
Exciting and dynamic ministry where children experience kid’s church in a whole new way.
Family Worship Sundays
4 times a year, on the 5th Sunday, families with children 4 years thru High School will be in the service together and have the opportunity to worship, pray, engage in the sermon and take communion as a family.

Babyland: Look for the special section at the back of the auditorium reserved for families with infants and small children. This area is designed with young families in mind who need more seating space and easy access to exit doors. As a reminder, we also have a Parent Viewing room with access from the lobby.

Solid Rocks
This is an activity and snack time planned for all the Kinder-5th graders who attend 2 services, usually because their parents attend one service and serve during another. Offered at the 11:00am service time only
Special Needs “Buddy” Ministry
Trained volunteers provide one-on-one assistance to children with special needs, so they, too, can participate in our Children’s programs. Offered at 9:00am service time only.

Rio Adventure Co-op Orientation
We recognize the responsibility we have to care for the large number of children God has entrusted to us, so it is vitally important that every parent do their part. At River City, all parents of children, 6 months-preschool, are expected to serve in the Rio Adventure Explorers Ministry on a regular rotation during one of the two Worship services. Every family that receives from Rio Adventure must participate in this ministry because it takes the church body to make ministry happen!

Imagine leaving a life of privilege and power to face angry mobs, painful imprisonment, and chain-breaking earthquakes—all to spread the life-changing truth of God’s love. Learn the jaw-dropping story of the Apostle Paul straight from Paul himself! In an ancient “anything goes” culture, Paul will inspire kids to share the truth of God's immeasurable love today!
Kids going into Kinder-5th grade are invited to join us for a week long celebration full of music, drama, games, and Bible study!
Registration starts at 6pm each night of VBS at the Rio Check-In Desk. See you then!

Family Movie Nights
Bring the whole family for a movie themed extravaganza one Friday night a month during the summer. The auditorium will be transformed into a theater complete with snacks to munch! Doors open at 6:00 and the movie starts at 6:30 pm.

Mother's Day Out
As a ministry and outreach to children from walking to age 5 (Pre-Kinder), Mother's Day Out (MDO) provides an early childhood education learning environment for children. Our Bible-based curriculum and activities meet the specific educational, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of each child.

This program provides parental support by offering quality childcare at regular blocks of time, allowing parents time to meet personal and family needs. As an outreach, MDO allows children and families an opportunity to come to know Christ’s love and look to the church for support when they otherwise might not. Our MDO offers a 2-day structured program for 1-5 year olds with qualified and trained teachers.

RCBA After School Academy
After School Academy (ASA) is River City Believers Academy’s after school program for Pre-K to 8th graders. ASA will consist of study time, snack time, and play time. Students will be grouped in small groups according to age.

Pre-K to 8th Grade
Monday-Friday 2:30 PM - 6:00 PM
ASA will follow the RCBA school calendar. Any school holidays will also be holidays for ASA. However, ASA will be open early on half days. There are no additional fees for this service.
Snacks will be provided. Please make ASA staff aware of any food allergies your student may have. Additionally, ASA will follow the RCBA handbook on any policy not specifically stated on this sheet.

Tuition & Fees Policy
$45/week
$180/month
Tuition is due by the 5th of the month. There will be a late fee of $ 10 charged if payment is not received by the 5th and $20 if received after the 10th of the month.
There is a one time registration fee of $50 per student.
Additionally, a late pick up fee may be assessed if your student(s) are repeatedly not picked up by 6:00 PM.
Enrollment Procedures
Please complete the enrollment form and submit it with the $50 registration fee to the RCBA office. The ASA Coordinator will contact you to confirm enrollment.
